Hello loves, it has been a while. So, I attempted to clean out my wardrobe this month. This was not a major deep cleaning like the professionals do, but there were a lot of things in my closet just taking up space. Most of the things I took out were old, outdated, or just not practical for me anymore. With the help of Pinterest, I tackled sorting through my clothes, shoes, and a few accessories for a fresh start. Here is the link to the board I created if you would like any pointers: https://www.pinterest.com/lawe01/spring-cleaning/
And don't forget to follow me;)
Everything neatly folded and organized.
The Bags
What I took out of my closet, I decided to sell to Plato's Closet or give away to Goodwill or Salvation Army. If you do not know what Plato's is, it's just a really cool consignment store for teens. They buy and sell gently used clothing from popular brands/stores. I've been going there for years and have scored some great finds as well as a few extra bucks. For more info, check here: http://www.platoscloset.com/how-it-works.
I am still in the process of giving these clothes away, so if you want to look at some items or have any ideas of other places I could donate them to, hit a girl up.
Since, it was not really a deep cleanse, I will not be replacing everything in my closet. However, I did purchase a couple of things, non-clothing items included. I also realized that while I have a closet full of clothes, I am missing a few wardrobe essentials that I need to invest in soon. So, stay on the lookout for a "Wardrobe Essentials" post, modest edition of course.
