Spring Cleaning + Mini Haul

Hello loves, it has been a while. So, I attempted to clean out my wardrobe this month. This was not a major deep cleaning like the professionals do, but there were a lot of things in my closet just taking up space. Most of the things I took out were old, outdated, or just not practical for me anymore. With the help of  Pinterest, I tackled sorting through my clothes, shoes, and a few accessories for a fresh start.  Here is the link to the board I created if you would like any pointers:  https://www.pinterest.com/lawe01/spring-cleaning/
And don't forget to follow me;)

Everything neatly folded and organized.
The Bags

What I took out of my closet, I decided to sell to Plato's Closet or give away to Goodwill or Salvation Army. If you do not know what Plato's is, it's just a really cool consignment store for teens. They buy and sell gently used clothing from popular brands/stores. I've been going there for years and have scored some great finds as well as a few extra bucks. For more info, check here:  http://www.platoscloset.com/how-it-works
I am still in the process of giving these clothes away, so if you want to look at some items or have any ideas of other places I could donate them to, hit a girl up.
Since, it was not really a deep cleanse, I will not be replacing everything in my closet. However, I did purchase a couple of things, non-clothing items included. I also realized that while I have a closet full of clothes, I am missing a few wardrobe essentials that I need to invest in soon. So, stay on the lookout for a "Wardrobe Essentials" post, modest edition of course.

A Sunday Well Spent Brings A Week of Content | OOTD

Yesterday was just an awesome day. God spoke a great word in service. My great-uncle came to church for the first time in about a year. One of my childhood best friends came to visit from Orlando. I spent the day at my abuela's house, something I haven't done in a while. We had Popeye's for Dinner. And, I managed to style a pretty nice outfit in less than five minutes. The way my Sunday went, my week is looking good :)
On my last Outfit of the Day post, I promised outdoor photos, and I kept my word. There is just something about the sun that can light a photo like nothing else can. Photo Credits this time go to my sister, she did quite an amazing job I might add. I am very proud of her and these photos. Thinking of firing mi madre and making her the official photographer for the blog lol.
I've worn the top from this post both casually and dressy. It is quite versatile and very good quality. The skirt is super old. I bought it on a shopping spree at the Palm Beach Gardens Mall when I was like twelve, no lie. Over the years, it has been a bit tight at the hips, but Bless the Lord it seems I've lost some weight! My gorgeous shoes are from the late Vince Camuto #RIPVINCE. I bought them at Dillard's, one of the best places in my opinion to buy shoes. They're one of my favorite pairs of shoes, and I love the Crocodile Skin leather. I also like the thickness of the ankle strap, a feature on practically every one of my open- toed heels. The only thing is that I bought them in an 8.5, so they are a little small and push my toes forward sometimes. But, do not worry, these heels are quite comfortable. My bag is a birthday/Christmas gift from my aunt, madre, or sister, I can't remember. It is very unique with dual-toned black and gold patent leather, and a box-like shape. The sunglasses are from my favorite California-based glasses shop, zeroUV. They are the reason why my sunglasses/frames collection is so vast and still growing.
Hope you like it!
Have a wonderful week lovelies.
God Bless.
Till next time,

What's Everybody Got Against Mondays? | OOTD

"I hate Mondays", we've all heard it before. But, where does it even come from? What did Monday ever do to anyone? I, for one, am quite fond of Mondays, just like I enjoy every other day of the week. All days are created equal (except the Sabbath, and holidays, oh and birthdays lol). So, today's outfit was dedicated to the beautiful yet under appreciated day of the week; Monday!
This is my first "Outfit of The Day Post", I hope you guys like it. Just want to apologize before hand for the bad lighting. I waited too long to take the pictures and when I remembered, it was already dark outside. Don't worry though, most if not all of my outfit posts' pictures will be taken in natural sunlight for future reference.
We'll say I took so many pictures for the angles but I think we all know I was having a little too much fun. :)
